Information and Support Centre Volunteer - Watford

We need volunteers to help run the Macmillan Information and Support Centre at Watford General Hospital. We provide information and support to anyone affected by cancer whether that be patients, relatives and friends, the general public, or health care professionals who need detailed information. our service users might want to know about a particular type of cancer, need help when being discharged or just wish to talk to someone about how they are feeling.

You need to be 18 years old or over to apply for this opportunity.

What we're looking for

  • Organised with an attention to detail
  • A good "people person" who enjoys listening and talking to others
  • Basic computer skills
  • Wishes to give at least three hours a week of their time, ideally for six months
