Medway - Walking for Health Walk Leader

If you love being outdoors and enjoy helping others, then why not become a walk leader or walk assistant for your local Walking for Health group? Run by Macmillan and the Ramblers, Walking for Health is England's largest network of health walk schemes. As a walk leader you will help people in your community to get active, providing vital support. As well as ensuring walks are friendly, safe and well-run, you will be an ambassador for walking, your scheme and Walking for Health. You need to be 18 years old or over to apply for this opportunity.

  • Enthusiastic about walking
  • Friendly and welcoming
  • Able to take control and be assertive when needed
  • Reliable, punctual and well organised
  • Able to follow guidance and work independently
