Community Helper (North Down and Ards)

People tell us they need emotional, social and practical support during their cancer journey and they want help locally. Macmillan offers a volunteer-led service of Community Helpers in a number of local areas which we’d love you to be a part of. The role involves listening and talking to people with/affected by cancer and could also include practical support with household tasks such as shopping, vacuuming, laundry, ironing, light gardening tasks or even dog-walking. Interviews will be held and training and support provided.

You need to be 18 years old or over to apply for this opportunity.
