Cancer Guide volunteer- Beth Johnson Foundation

Volunteering with the Staffordshire Cancer Support Programme (CaSP). The role of a Cancer Guide is to assist an area Link Worker to help support people living with and beyond cancer on a one to one basis. Assisting people to explore and prioritise their needs and identifying community services that could help them. Undertaking research as and when required to help resolve people's issues and concerns.

You need to be 18 years old or over to apply for this opportunity.

What we're looking for

  • Note taking skills
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Ability to understand boundaries
  • Be able to understand the needs of someone with cancer
  • Being none judgmental
