My Macmillan

Review: Not that kind of love (terminal cancer)

Review: Not that kind of love. Moving, thought-provoking & surprisingly humorous, this is a description of a journey to death & a celebration of life. Based on Clare Wise's blog, it charts the last three years of her life. It is not a book that fills you with despair & anguish. Clare is dynamic, witty, fun & her positivity & energy shine out. As she becomes too weak to type, her brother (actor Greg Wise) takes over, & the book becomes a meditation on life & the need to talk about death.
