Read and comment on books for children

There are many books about cancer written for children. These can be about children's cancers (including treatment) or cancer in someone else, for example a parent or sibling. We need you to review books to help us select the most useful and appropriate books for children and help others choose what to read and what to avoid. We will send you a list of the children's book available for review so that you can choose which book(s) to review (we send one book at a time).

You need to be 18 years old or over to apply for this opportunity.

You need to have experience of cancer to apply for this opportunity.


What we're looking for

  • Experience of cancer (patient, carer, family member or friend)
  • Reliability
  • A love of reading
  • Critical skills - prepared to be honest, but fair
  • Time to read the book thoroughly and complete a review form
