M&S and Costa Coffee Collections

Macmillan is hosting its biggest ever fundraising collection on 23 - 25 September 2022 and we would love for you to join us!

You can choose from 900 M&S and Costa Coffee stores around the UK, using our postcode locator to find a store near you. There are two shifts to choose from and all collection items are provided on the day. You can also sign up as an individual or even invite a friend or family member to register with you and collect as a team.

Together the collection hopes to raise £500,000 to help Macmillan Cancer Support do whatever it takes for people living with cancer.

Amount of time needed and when

We have two shifts to choose from, either 11am-2pm or 2pm-5pm.

What activities will you be involved in?

Helping to collect donations at M&S or Costa Coffee stores.

Induction or training required?

A full brief will be sent 3 weeks prior to the event. Volunteers can also watch a video about the collections and attend optional drop in sessions to ask questions about the event (these will be advertised in volunteer brief).

Skills/experience required:

• Ability to work well in a team as well as individually.
• Good communication skills.

Other information

Reasonable expenses can be claimed but will need to be pre-agreed by the Volunteer Manager.

Macmillan sash provided to volunteers who don’t have a Macmillan t-shirt.

Collection items are provided by the store.

All money collected on your shift will be banked by the store.
