1. Why we want you?
Make a real difference to people living with cancer by giving a few hours each week to drive people from home to medical appointments at the local hospital or GP surgeries.
2. What you will be doing
As one or our team of drivers, you will drive people to and from local medical appointments, sometimes waiting for the duration of the appointment. The time commitment will be variable but agreed in advance of each journey. You will meet a range of people, offer a warm welcome and aim to make each person comfortable for the journey.
3. The skills you need
Your own vehicle, clean driving license and be fully insured
A friendly manner and good communication skills
A willingness to attend support sessions and refer any issues or concerns to Cherry Lodge Staff
