M&S and Costa Coffee Collections

Opportunity image

Available from 22 September 2023 to 24 September 2023

Macmillan’s M&S and Costa Coffee collections are back on 22 – 24 September and we would love for you to join us!

You can choose from hundreds of M&S and Costa Coffee stores around the UK, using our postcode locator to find a store near you. There are two shifts to choose from and all collection items are provided on the day. You can also sign up as an individual or even invite a friend or family member to register with you and collect as a team.

Together the collection hopes to raise £500,000 to help Macmillan Cancer Support do whatever it takes for people living with cancer.

What's in it for you

  • Have a rewarding and fun experience
  • Meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community
  • Receive the support you need to carry out your role, and agreed out-of-pocket expenses (reimbursed within our guidelines)
  • Support Macmillan Cancer Support to be able to do whatever it takes for people living with cancer

The skills you need

  • Ability to work well in a team as well as individually
  • Good communication skills
  • Minimum age 18

Volunteer brief will be sent 3 weeks prior to the event. Volunteers can also attend optional webinars to ask questions about the event.

The webinars are being held on:

• Tuesday 19th September – 1pm -1:45pm
• Tuesday 19th September – 5:30pm – 6:15pm
• Thursday 21st September – 6pm – 6:45pm

Reasonable expenses can be claimed but will need to be pre-agreed by the Volunteer Manager. A Macmillan sash will be provided to volunteers who don’t have a Macmillan t-shirt.

Donate today to help people with cancer live as fully as they can.
