Business Support Volunteer (High Value Events)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a volunteer to support with organising and delivering Macmillan Events. Join our High Value Events team, sitting within the Philanthropy and High Value Events (PHVE) Department in an exciting and varied volunteer role. The PHVE team connect donors with the people and the ideas shaping cancer care, and secure gifts that will truly change lives.

Help us to deliver high quality, unforgettable events and moments for Macmillan’s biggest supporters, ranging from The Macmillan Ball, Race days, Carol Concerts, webinars and intimate dinners. As an Events Volunteer you will support the team to source unforgettable experiences and items such as prizes for auctions and grand prize draws. You’ll use your organisational skills to volunteer with the team and help deliver specific projects, as well as bring your enthusiasm to events throughout the year and can also choose to support with on the day event delivery.

We can offer you a flexible volunteering pattern, where you can choose to work from home or join us in our London Based office. The ideal volunteer applicant should be able to commit to providing support on average once a week.
