Event Support Volunteer (Birmingham Pride Parade - 23 May 2026)

Birmingham Pride is one of the UK’s largest Pride celebrations, attracting over 40,000 people over the course of the weekend to the festival site and over 75,000 participating in or watching the annual pride parade. Join us in walking in the parade as we share messages of solidarity and inclusivity and highlight that Macmillan is here for all.

What you will be doing

Marching in the Parade As a volunteer, you’ll be front and center in the parade, representing Macmillan’s unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community. With every step, you’ll help shine a spotlight on the vital cancer support services we provide—and the people whose lives we touch every day.

Your impact

Raise vital awareness of Macmillan’s cancer support services within the LGBTQ+ community, helping break down barriers to access and support. Inspire community connection, showing that Macmillan is here for everyone, regardless of identity or background.
