Event Support Volunteer (Brighton and Hove Triathlon - 31 August 2025)

Opportunity image

At the lovely Hove Lawns, you will find our wonderful volunteer water station waiting to greet our fundraisers as they take on their challenge to raise money for people living with cancer. Volunteer to join the Green team and support our runners by handing out much needed hydration. This is a vital role for the half marathon organization and your presence also helps raise awareness for our services.

What will you be doing?

Water Station

  • Help to set up our water station with all the cups, gels and snacks the runners will need.
  • Hand out drinks as runners pass by, giving them some much needed encouragement on the way.
  • Keep the area safe for the runners by maintaining a tidy station.

Your impact

  • £60,000 raised in 2024.
  • £67,786 could pay for a Macmillan Nurse for 1 year, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical, and emotional support.

“Felt part of something that was fun as well as worthwhile.” - Brighton & Hove Triathlon 2024
