Event Support Volunteer (Brighton Half Marathon - 2 March 2025)
On the famous Brighton seafront, a sea of green (in the form of our fabulous Macmillan volunteers) will greet our fantastic runners. Volunteer to join the Green team and support our runners by assisting at the start and finish line. This is a vital role for the half marathon coordination and your presence also helps raise awareness for our services.
What will you be doing?
Start Line
- Help assist in the start pens
- Coordinating runners in their pens and to the start line
- Give the runners some much needed encouragement
Finish Line
- Help assist in the runner fulfilment area
- Give out medals, goody bags, water, foil blankets and more!
Your impact
- £115,000 raised by 300 runners in 2024.
- This could help to run the Brighton Macmillan Information Centre for nearly a month.
