Event Support Volunteer (Brighton & Hove Triathlon Water Station - 1 September 2024)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join us as an Event Support Volunteer and be a part of an amazing team on the day, and if you love the experience you might be inspired to join the team at other events in the future.

By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

Help us run our water station at the Brighton & Hove Triathlon on Sunday 1 September 2024. As the official Triathlon charity partner, we're so excited to be hosting a water station situated on Hove Lawns this year. By volunteering you will be an integral part of the event by giving out water to each and every athlete, as well as raising vital awareness of our charity. As a thank you for making sure our water station runs smoothly, volunteers will also recieve a hot meal, a free Tribourne t-shirt and water bottle (from the Triathlon organisers). This event is a great way to gain events experience as well as doing something fun in the local Sussex community.
