Event Support Volunteer (Brighton Marathon and 10K - 6 April 2025)

The Brighton Marathon is an incredibly fun event, and the water station role is absolutely perfect if you want to gain events experience and skills in teamwork and communication. Take a look at what you’d be doing in each role below and join us by the seaside to provide our runners with some much-needed hydration and encouragement as they take on their challenge.

What will you be doing?

Water Station

  • Help to set up our water station with all the cups, gels and snacks the runners will need.
  • Hand out drinks as runners pass by, giving them some much needed encouragement on the way.
  • Keep the area safe for the runners by maintaining a tidy station.
  • Can’t do one of our shift times but would still like to volunteer, get in touch and we can help!
  • £90,000 raised in 2024 by our Macmillan runners
  • This could help run a medium local Macmillan Welfare Benefits Advice service for 1 year.
