Event Support Volunteer (Chester Zoo Gifts in Wills Event - 6 November 2024)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join us as an Event Support Volunteer and be a part of an amazing team on the day, and if you love the experience you might be inspired to join the team at other events in the future. By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

Join us for a special volunteering role, to meet and greet guests at an exclusive Gifts in Wills event taking place at Chester Zoo. Help us to welcome our guests and show them where to go - you will be raising awareness of Macmillan by representing our brand and supporting positive conversations about the Gifts in Wills programme. You will be provided with a full induction to prepare you for the role and light refreshments on the day. As a volunteer we ask that you stay for the duration of the event and can enjoy listening to our guest speakers, before helping us to thank and direct our guests off site. Following your shift, you are welcome to stay and explore the zoo.
