Event Support Volunteer (Ealing Half Marathon - 28 September 2025)
The Ealing Half Marathon is a wonderful family friendly event with races for all ages and abilities. Our cheerpoint will support Macmillan runners as they pass the historic Ealing Town Hall twice, once at mile 1 and once at mile 11, just when they need us most. Your support will help push them over the finish line and remind them why they are taking on their challenge to support people living with cancer.
What will you be doing?
Cheerpoint
- Join a friendly group of volunteers to encourage our runners to the finish line.
- We will provide everything you need to make some noise and paint the path green (Macmillan tabards, cowbells, clappers, pom poms etc.)
- Can’t do one of our shift times but would still like to volunteer, get in touch and we can help!
Your impact
- £42,000 raised in 2024 by 100.
- This could run the Macmillan Online Community for 2 months.

Then we would love you to join us as an Event Support Volunteer and be a part of an amazing team on the day, and if you love the experience you might be inspired to join the team at other events in the future.
