Event Support Volunteer (Edinburgh Pride - 20 June 2026)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join us as an Event Support Volunteer and be a part of an amazing team on the day, and if you love the experience you might be inspired to join the team at other events in the future.

By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

Come and join Team Macmillan at Edinburgh's 2024 Pride event. Walk with us in the parade as we share messages of solidarity and inclusivity, highlighting that Macmillan is here for all. The route starts at the Scottish Parliament building and travels along the Royal Mile, taking in the cities historic sites, finishing at the Pride village.

Please note timings and locations listed are a guide and may be subject to change by event organisers. Exact details will be confirmed in your volunteer brief sent two weeks before the event.
