Event Support Volunteer (Edinburgh Pride Parade)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join our team as an Event Support volunteer and help support everything from marathons to festivals and supermarket collections to black tie events.

By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

Join Macmillan at Edinburgh's 2023 Pride event. The route starts at the Scottish Parliament building and finishes at the Pride Village in the Edinburgh University Students Association building, taking in the sights of the Royal Mile on the way. Walk with us in the parade as we share messages of solidarity and inclusivity and highlight that Macmillan is here for all.

Please note timings and locations listed are a guide and may be subject to change by event organisers. Exact details will be confirmed in your volunteer brief sent a week before the event.
