Event Support Volunteer (Event Support - Tough Mudder - 25 June 2023)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join our team as an Event Support volunteer and help support everything from marathons to festivals and supermarket collections to black tie events.

By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

We’re looking for volunteers to join Macmillan as we support Tough Mudder Midlands!

You’ll be helping to make the day fantastic for participants as they take on the 10K or 5K obstacle course. You could be distributing snacks and water, handing out finishers’ tshirts, or crowning finishers with the famous Tough Mudder headbands – expect muddy hugs in return! If you’re volunteering in the morning you may also be helping out at the registration or bag drop areas.

Tough Mudder will also make a Macmillan donation for every volunteer who attends on the day – so you’ll be helping in more ways than one!
