Event Support Volunteer (Great Scottish Run 2023 - 1 October 2023)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join our team as an Event Support volunteer and help support everything from marathons to festivals and supermarket collections to black tie events.

Come and join Team Macmillan at the Great Scottish Run 2023. As well as having fun cheering on our incredible runners, you'll be raising awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support and doing whatever it takes to support people living with cancer.

We have two cheerpoint locations for this event. Please note timings and locations may be subject to change by event organisers. Exact details will be confirmed in your volunteer brief sent a few weeks before the event.

We try to be as flexible as possible so please speak to a member of the team if you're unable to commit to one of the full shifts listed or have any concerns.

By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community.
