Event Support Volunteer (Hackney Half Marathon - 18 May 2025)
Hackney half is an exciting running event that takes in vibrant street art, music and entertainment along the route. Expect a day full of fun and a celebratory atmosphere you can soak in whilst cheering on our runners who are raising fantastic amounts for people living with cancer.
What will you be doing?
Cheerpoint
- Join a friendly group of volunteers to encourage our runners to the finish line.
- We will provide everything you need to make some noise and paint the path green (Macmillan tabards, cowbells, clappers, pom poms etc.)
- Can’t do one of our shift times but would still like to volunteer, get in touch and we can help!
Your impact
- £100,000 raised in 2024.
- This could run our Macmillan Online Community for nearly 6 months.

This event will be affected by road closures and London underground access. Please contact us if you would like to attend and we would be happy to try and help you work out a route.

Then we would love you to join us as an Event Support Volunteer and be a part of an amazing team on the day, and if you love the experience you might be inspired to join the team at other events in the future.
