Event Support Volunteer (Hay-on-Wye Festival (30 May 2023 - 4 June 2023))

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join our team as an Event Support volunteer and help support everything from marathons to festivals and supermarket collections to black tie events.

By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

Hay Festival is one of the world’s most celebrated arts and literature festivals. It’s where the greatest writers, thinkers, artists and innovators gather for conversation, debate and performances. Our legacies team will be at this exciting event promoting our 'Gifts in Wills' offer. You'll be part of your local Macmillan team, providing attendees with information about the gift in wills programme and providing great advice on how members of the public can create a lasting legacy with a gift in their will.

Breaks will be provided where you can enjoy the festival. Places are limited so sign up soon to get to be a part of this world famous festival.
