Event Support Volunteer (HYROX Birmingham - 26-27 October 2024)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join us as an Event Support Volunteer and be a part of an amazing team on the day, and if you love the experience you might be inspired to join the team at other events in the future. By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

Join Macmillan Cancer Support as we celebrate our incredible 1,225 athletes taking on HYROX Birmingham. This role will see you managing our popular pre/post-race massage queue. You’ll engage with participants, giving out raffle tickets and assigning participants to their designated massage therapist when their number is called. You'll be joined by a member of staff on the day, as you soak up the atmosphere of this busy and exciting event!
