Event Support Volunteer (London Landmarks Half Marathon - 12 April 2026)

If you’re looking for a fun volunteering opportunity, this is the one to go for. Each year our cheer point has a theme with fancy dress to make us that much more distinctive, last year was Celebrating London parks.

In addition, we will be joined by our wonderful Samba band to provide music and endless entertainment throughout the day. Sign up to make sure you don’t miss the fun!

What will you be doing?

Cheer point

Join a friendly group of volunteers to encourage our runners to the finish line.

We will provide everything you need to make some noise and paint the path green (Macmillan tabards, cowbells, clappers, pom poms etc.)

Can’t do one of our shift times but would still like to volunteer, get in touch and we can help!

Your impact

£361,000 raised in 2025. This could help to fund a Macmillan Information Nurse Specialist for 1 month.

What makes this event special?

Every year we go all out on this cheer point with a special theme with extra fancy dress props and cheering materials. Last year was Celebrating London parks.
