Event Support Volunteer (Macmillan Coffee Morning - Mile End Parkrun - 28 September 2024)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join us as an Event Support Volunteer and be a part of an amazing team on the day, and if you love the experience you might be inspired to join the team at other events in the future.

By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

Parkrun is kicking off their 20th birthday celebrations by supporting Macmillan's Coffee Morning on Saturday 28 September.

The Mile End parkrun is getting involved and will be hosting a Coffee Morning at Mile End Leisure Stadium from 8.30-10.30am.

They are looking for volunteers to go along and support this coffee morning by helping to set up, sell cakes and collect donations. Please note that donations will be taken through an App which volunteers will be required to download on their Smartphone. This is completely secure and we'll send all the details you need to be able to do this.
