Event Support Volunteer (Richmond RunFest Marathon - 10 September 2023)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join our team as an Event Support volunteer and help support everything from marathons to festivals and supermarket collections to black tie events.

Help us cheer on our Team Macmillan runners as they tackle this beautiful river-side marathon in Richmond-upon-Thames. The route includes key historical sites like Hampton Court, Ham House and even Kew Gardens. Our cheerpoints are family friendly, and we would love for you to help us celebrate and help keep our runners feeling motivated as they take on this incredible challenge. Please note current timings and locations could be subject to small changes, but advance notice of changes will be given as much as possible.

By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community.
