Event Support Volunteer (Run Bournemouth - 12 October 2025)
Run Bournemouth is a weekend of running events which takes over the lovely seaside town of Bournemouth. Our cheerpoint is located on the seafront, near the Macmillan pier. By joining us, you’ll not only meet some wonderful people, but you’ll support people living with cancer by providing our runners with some much-needed encouragement to complete their fundraising challenge.
What will you be doing?
Cheerpoint
- Join a friendly group of volunteers to encourage our runners to the finish line.
- We will provide everything you need to make some noise and paint the path green (Macmillan tabards, cowbells, clappers, pom poms etc.)
- Can’t do one of our shift times but would still like to volunteer, get in touch and we can help!
Your impact
- £130,000 raised by 800 people in 2024.
- This could help run the Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch Macmillan Welfare Benefits Advice service for a year.
