Event Support Volunteer (Spinnaker Tower Partnership - Market Research Volunteers - 8 July 2023)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join our team as an Event Support volunteer and help support everything from marathons to festivals and supermarket collections to black tie events.

We have a really exciting opportunity to involve our fabulous volunteers with our brand new partnership with the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. The partnership is hoping to raise around £250,000 and fundraising with volunteers will be a vital part of helping us reach this target. To kick off the partnership Macmillan is keen to understand what the people of Portsmouth think about us and the Spinnaker Tower. We are looking for volunteers to help us conduct some market research by asking members of the public a few short questions. All training will be provided to support you with this and you will be well looked after on the day by our fabulous Lead Volunteers. This is a new opportunity for volunteers where you will be able to truly see the impact of Macmillan's support in the local community. It's open to all and will be the first of a series of opportunities for volunteers in and around Portsmouth. We're very excited about it and hope you will be too!
