Event Support Volunteer (The Great Scottish Run - 4 October 2026)

Opportunity image

The AJ Bell Great Scottish Run is a celebration of everything that is great about Glasgow: inspiring urban architecture, history, music, spirit and, of course, great people and humour. This is exactly what volunteers on our cheerpoint embody as they cheer on our wonderful runners whilst they raise money for people living with cancer.

What will you be doing?

Cheerpoint

Join a friendly group of volunteers to encourage our runners to the finish line. We will provide everything you need to make some noise and paint the path green (Macmillan tabards, cowbells, clappers, pom poms etc.) Can’t do one of our shift times but would still like to volunteer, get in touch and we can help!

Your impact
