Event Support Volunteer (Welcome Break Collections Volunteer 20-22 September 2024 - Sarn Park)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join us as an Event Support Volunteer and be a part of an amazing team on the day, and if you love the experience you might be inspired to join the team at other events in the future. By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

Join us to help fundraise and support us to do whatever it takes for people living with cancer. You will be joining a UK-wide team of volunteers across 21 Welcome Break Service Station and Hotel sites, working to raise as much money and awareness of our charity as possible. You will be provided with all of the collection resources you need, including a bucket, Macmillan branding and a named Welcome Break buddy to greet you when you arrive. Choose your preferred shift and day or join us across the whole weekend. Timings may be subject to very small changes but you will be notified by your Volunteer Manager should this happen.
