Event Support Volunteer (Wheelbase Fred Whitton Challenge - 12 May 2024)

At Macmillan we give people with cancer everything we’ve got. Do you have enthusiasm for fundraising and work well in a team? Then we would love you to join us as an Event Support Volunteer and be a part of an amazing team on the day, and if you love the experience you might be inspired to join the team at other events in the future. By sharing your skills and time, you’ll have a rewarding and fun experience, helping us to deliver an excellent experience for event participants and meet new people as part of a friendly team that makes a difference in the community. Together, we can be right there for people with cancer.

Can you help to serve baked goods and collect donations for Macmillan at the finish line of the Fred Whitton Challenge? 2,500 cyclists will be taking on an impressive 114 mile route around the Lake District and we need volunteers to support the team at the finish line in the beautiful village of Grasmere. Chat to cyclists, family members and supporters and help us to say a big thank you for their incredible donations!
